Abstract:

Millions of people whose medical condition limit the use of their hands are unable to benefit from the smartphone revolution. They don't have access to the plethora of communication, social and educational tools, games and lessons available for everybody else.

Sesame is creating the world’s first touch-free smartphone and tablet, designed to serve those for whom touch is impossible. The Sesame Phone provides an affordable communication solution and the touch-free interface extends to millions of apps immediately, opening up a new world of opportunity.

Using only a smartphone or tablet's built-in camera empowered with Sesame’s computer vision technology, life is becoming more accessible for those that are unable to use a phone or a tablet.  Sesame is able to transform the life of children and adults suffering from Spinal Cord Injuries, ALS, Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Strokes, Parkinson’s Disease, Arthritis, and more
